Colorado Systems Group was founded in 1999 by Jeffrey Brown, Jay Randall, and Andy Kippes. With years of security and access control experience among them, the three partners formed Colorado Systems Group to become Colorado's integrated security systems experts for mid-sized to large corporations. Focusing on customer goals and needs and providing progressive, innovative solutions has propelled the owner-operated CSG to their status as regional leaders.
Jeffrey Brown - Director of Sales and Marketing
When it’s time to have some fun and let loose, Jeff can always be counted on to take it over the top (not without the occasional embarrassing moment). As a Colorado native, Jeff enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter in the beautiful outdoors. He is still trying to figure out what a Forestry degree and the electronic security industry have in common (trees vs. card readers — not an easy comparison to make). Jeff has always been the guy who can befriend anyone, create strong relationships, and work through customer challenges with a smile on his face, making him the ideal partner to lead our organization's sales and marketing efforts.
Jay Randall - CFO, Director of Administration and Finance
As with all of the owners of Colorado Systems Group, Inc., Jay wears many hats, including project manager, I.T. systems support, and CFO. At work, he enjoys working in the field to ensure customer satisfaction and quality installations, as well as pounding out financial spreadsheets and employee incentive plans.
Jay lives in Loveland, Colorado. Away from work, he enjoys working on his home, building computers, skiing, reading, golfing, fishing, music, playing (with) the guitar, camping, and getting out of the city. Although this is beginning to sound like a member application to an online dating site, Jay is happily married with two beautiful girls.
Andy Kippes - Director of Operations
Andy is a different sort of animal, closest to the nocturnal species. He applies a keen eye (utilizing spectacles) for detail and quality to ensure customer satisfaction. You may find grit in his teeth and dust in his eyes, because Andy believes the dirt road is always preferable to a shortcut. He also holds strong beliefs in fighting the good fight, a hard day's work for a hard day's pay, and developing strong business relationships. Outside of the work environment, Andy enjoys golf, pool, softball, hiking, fishing, reading, home projects, and exploring God’s creation.
